They’ll never leave home

but they’ll always be alone

in their Safe Place.

They’ll moan and they’ll cry

and always wonder why

she didn’t win the race.

They’ll riot in the streets

and watch flags and cars burning.

they’ll bitch and moan

and act like the world quit turning.

They’ll riot all night until the morning

and they’re always on the lookout for

a trigger warning.

Their profs gave them hot cocoas and

soft cuddly puppies to hold.

l just  hope their acts come together

before they get old.
