The Church Of the Here and Now

I wrote this as fiction a few years ago but it is beoming more and more like reality each passing day. We are told not to offend other people and let them believe the way they want to believe. Jesus cannot be the only way to Heaven and it is not politically correct to mention the Bible or God in public. More and more adjustments are made to our churches from tearing crosses down and removing pictures of Jesus and anything that pertains to Christianity so as not to “offend” anyone. People want to go to church to feel good and hear sermons that “tickle their ears” instead of putting God in His rightful place
.
The Church Of the Here and Now
This is starting to happen now. There are transgender churches in this country now, pastors are blessing abortion clinics and Christian businesses are being discriminated against. We have got to put God back in our homes, our schools, and yes our churches. God has blessed this country so much through the years and we have turned our backs on Him .It is time for Christians stand up and let our voices be head. We have been silent too long
.
Friends, this is fiction. But it is something that could possibly happen in the near future. We Christians need to wake up and stand up for God before it is too late. I hope this piece will give you something to think about.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14.
I saw the building in the distance and decided to get a closer look. The sign in the front yard had these words: Welcome to the Church of the Here and Now.
As I walked up the door, a man greeted me. “I see you are interested in our church. Let me give you a tour.”
Just inside the door was a table holding two large binders. I did not see a Bible anywhere. “These binders have taken the place of the Bible. In the Church of the Here and Now we have found the Bible is Politically Incorrect. The binders contain our lists of PC terms. You see instead of sin we use the term mistake. Instead of God we say Higher Power. By doing this we do not offend anyone with differing beliefs.”
He then led me into the sanctuary. “Here you see all the sections we have,” He proudly waved his arm around the room. we walled up to a section. “Here is where most of our white people sit However, you will see a smaller section. That is where white people who do not understand or believe in white privilege sit. Next, we have a section reserved for our African-American members. We find our friends of African descent very comfortable here. We do not use words like slavery, shackles or anything like that for fear of offending them. Our next section is for our neighbors who have crossed the border. We do not call them illegal aliens—that is very offensive. We called them our undocumented friends.”
The next section he led me to hard plastic bubbles built around the seats. “I see you are wondering who sits here.” He said with a grin. This is where our future leaders sit—our college students. Here they are protected by the bubbles so nothing can hurt their feelings. They each have their own ‘safe places’. The last section was lit with rainbow lights. When I asked about this section, he proudly replied, “This is for our LGBT members sit. They requested their lights be in rainbow colors to show solidarity.”
“You will see each seat has special earbuds. These filter out any offensive words that might slip in. It also lets our members hear what will make them feel good. Our pastor’s sermons are reviewed before Church by a special agency but sometimes words do slip in or fall through the cracks.”
By this time, I just needed to be alone and process all I had heard. “Uh-where are the bathrooms?” I asked. “Oh,” he said with a broad smile. “right this way.” He led me down a short hall and pointed to the bathrooms. “Naturally, they are all gender neutral. After all we want to befriend not offend.”
When I awoke sweat was running down my face and tears were stinging my eyes. I jumped from bed and knelt to pray.
“Father, this world has taken you out of our schools and out of the military. Now you have been kicked out of church. I pray that people's eyes will be open before it too late. You blessed great nation and now this country has rejected you. God bless this country again. but more importantly let your people wake up and stand for you like you stood for us at the cross.

Un-American

Our country was founded on principles that all men are created equal. Our founding fathers were visionaries and sought to assure all citizens the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. However, today we have groups that will deny others the right to life, deny others their liberty, and only think they themselves should be able to pursue happiness.

Friends, so much of what I see in our country today crushes these values America was built upon.

When a senator can shed tears on the senate floor because there is a policy to vet refugees from terror sponsored countries but remains dry eyed when millions of innocent babies are murdered in the womb—that is In-American.

When our homeless go hungry while illegal aliens can come into this count5ry and receive food stamps, welfare and shelter—that is Un-American

When our elderly much choose between eating or buying their medications while abortions and transgender surgeries are paid for with tax payer money—that is Un-American.

When our troops go without proper equipment while celebrities and athletes protest our country and national anthem—that is un-American.

When our veterans go without benefits that were promised but billions of dollars are given to countries that hate us—that is Un-American.

When Christian companies are forced to compromise their faith and values by serving same sex weddings while other businesses can say, “if you support traditional marriage, don’t shop here.”—that is Un-American.

When radical groups like BLM and anti fa can riot, burn cities and kill or injure people but citizens are prosecuted and persecuted for speaking out against them—that is Un-American.

When a black criminal disobeys law enforcement and is shot by police and there is a public outcry while police officers are shot everyday for doing their jobs and media is silent—that is Un-American.

When the media takes it upon itself to slant the news and tell us what to think instead of reporting the news and trusting us to decide for ourselves what to think—that is Un-American.

When liberal head explode at the use of word in describing a third world country while cities in this country resemble these third world countries and nothing is being done to improve the lives of citizens in these cities— that is Un-American.

When a political party would rather protect 8,000 illegal aliens than protect the citizens of this country and even go as far to threaten a government shut-down and deprive the elderly and military of their money— that is Un-American.

It appears that some of our leaders are more concerned about themselves and the special interest groups that has bought them out than the citizens that elected them and that is not only Un-American but unacceptable to the the citizens pf this country that are counting on the leadership.

Friends, I have been told that, as a Christian, I should not be political. I am not a political person but what I see goes beyond politics. It is now about our survival as a country and the fabric of our way of life. I once read “All it takes for evil to spread is for good men to do nothing.” I am only trying to do my small part to stop the spread of evil.

As always you are free to disagree but I am free to express my opinion. May God bless you all. . Just saying

Prayers Are Real

Liberals have taken it upon themselves to lecture us on everything from who to vote for to who should and should not own a gun. After the mass shooting in the small Texas church, they have come out in full force to tell us that prayers don't work. They, in their self-righteous moral authority, have taken to social media to ridicule and mock Christians that do believe in prayer and are praying for the victims and the families involved.

Wil Wheaton, a washed up actor took to Twitter to blast Congressman Paul Ryan when he said “our thoughts and prayers are with you.” Wheaton, in his all knowing wisdom shot back, “The victims were in church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive.” As despicable as his remark was, he was not the only “celebrity” to throw in their pearls of wisdom. One tweet even went as far to say, “They had the prayers shot right out of them.”

They not only ridicule Christians for their prayers. They have questioned the existence of God.”If God is real why did He let this happen?” Well, friends, God did not cause this tragedy. Man did. He used his free will that God has given us all and followed the “father of lies and great deceiver”, satan. Other people want to know “Why has God turned His back on America?” He has not turned His back to us. We have turned our backs on Him. We are now living in a world that has taken God out of our homes, schools, government and yes, even churches. We are now seeing what life is like without God. We cannot take God out of our lives and, when a tragedy, such as this happens, cast the blame on Him. He is not a magic elf that can be put on the shelf until we need something. He is a God of love but He does allow us freedom to make our own choices. So friends, no God is not to blame for this tragedy. But, I do know He has promised in Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” I do not claim to know what good will come of this. But I do know that He will work out His purpose in His own time.

So friends, I leave you with this: My prayers and thoughts are with you all and may God watch over you and yours.

As always you are free to disagree but I am still free to express my opinions. May God bless you all. Just saying.

The Days Ahead

I assume you have all heard of the proposed Civil War that is set on November 4 by Antifa and other hate groups. I have, for the last few days, felt an overwhelming burden to pray for our country, our President and our Vice President.

I have, like may of you, seen these hate groups in actions in several areas of this country. What strikes me is how young most of these rioters are. It saddens me to think how these young people are being used by people like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and George Soros to do their dirty work.

These young people do not even know or understand what they are fighting against. They are only doing what they are told to do by these evil puppet masters that are leading them to destruction. These evil puppet masters are trying to tear this great country down and, through their hatred for President Trump and the American citizens, are willing to sacrifice the lives of so many people to attain their goal.

I found a booklet on my dining room table the other day and do not even know where it came from or how it got on my table. I read the booklet and a section called “A Personal Matter” struck a chord in my heart and I would like to share a paragraph with you.

We need to feel responsible for doing our part. Nations are not converted as nations. Change takes place when individuals within a nation come to realize their personal responsibilities and when each resolves to do his part. As greater numbers take a stand the influence for good increases and the benefits multiply.

Friends, I think now is when we should all come together and do our part by praying for this country, its leaders and its citizens. God tells us we are fighting against flesh and blood but against the darkness and principalities of the air. This is a spiritual battle that we must all fight. We need to get on bended knee—not in protest—but in prayer. Satan has been loosed in this world and is deceiving many. I do not profess to know the day or the hour when He will return but I do know He is returning.

Father god, I come before you with a heavy heart and burden for this country that you have blessed for so long. I pray that people's eyes and hearts will be open to your calling. I pray for the many young people that are being deceived and lied to by the great deceiver and father of lies. I claim your promises that you will never leave nor forsake me and no weapon formed against me will stand. You have overcome this world and conquered death. Father, I pray for the wisdom to help others know you and the courage to stand firm in times of trials. I ask these things in the name of your son, Jesus.

Liberal Hypocrisy

This is in response to the Hollyweird Hollowheads that have taken it upon themselves to be our voice on how to act, what to think, and how to live. I have heard enough garbage spewing from you to fill up a 40 acre landfill. With the news of Harvey Weinstein and the massive cover up in Hollyweird, and yes, even Washington DC you loud mouth liberals have no right to be my moral conscience

Meryl Streep, you are definitely the wrong person to tell me how to act and what to think. With your diatribe at the awards show you let your true colors shine through. You spewed out vitriolic hatred about our president and the “injustice” in the country you deserved another award for that little act you put on there. You and your like live in your ivy covered castles, look down upon all of us “little people” and take it upon yourself to be our voice. You say you did not know about Weinstein's behavior and it disgusts you. How could you not know? It was a a standing joke in Hollyweird for over two decades. You are complicit in the pit of Hell that covered up for him. Why Meryl, you even called him god. How dare you blaspheme the name of my God in such a despicable way as that? You all get on your little soap box and tell regular Americans to listen to you because you are so much brighter than we are. In reality, Meryl you are all living in a fantasy world where nothing is is as it seems. You have told the same lies for so long you believe your own lies.

But Meryl, I am not picking on you. Others are just as guilty in this massive cover up. Matt Damon and Russell Crowe took it upon themselves to “kill” a story about this scandal in 2004. Weinstien was given a free pass because he was such a “big shot” in Tinseltown. Even Ben Affleck did his part in sexually exploiting women when he groped actress Hilarie Burton. I guess he did not have as much clout as Weinstein because he was called on it.

As repulsive as Weinstein is he was not the first nor I am afraid to say will he be the last pervert that comes from the Hollyweird scene When Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old girl and fled to Paris in 1977 to escape prosecution, Weinstein headed a petition to allow Polanski to return to the United States because “whatever you think about the so-called crime, Polanski has served his time. So I guess sexual perversion is a club where members take care of their own.

Hollyweird is not the only place Weinstein's influence has extended. He was a main contributor to Hillary Rodham Clinton and other demonratics, as well as, the DNC. He also contributed to Bill Clinton's defense fund in his impeachment hearings. It took Hillary about 5 hours after the Las Vegas massacre to come out and condemn the NRA and pro second amendment advocates but 5 days to respond to the Harvey Weinstein scandal. Even then it was a weak and watered down response. “I was shocked and apalled by the revelation about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.” Yeah, Hillary, your support of Bill's victims is to be commended. You really showed your advocacy for women in your actions back then.

Barack and Michelle Obama took even longer. Their response was a bit puzzling to say the least. “Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein.” Are they disgusted by the reports or by the actions of Weinstein? Their own daughter Malia was an intern for Weinstein and he was a frequent visitor at the White House. They took so long to issue a response that even the Crazed Nuts Network (CNN) wasn't pleased.

Perhaps the democrats who received monies from Einstein could donate these contributions to a rape crisis center to help other women who have been victimized by predators like them.

As always, you have the right to disagree but I have the right to express my opinion. May
God bless you all. Just saying.

My Rant (No Apology Forthcoming)

Friends, I have asked God to put a hand over my mouth today and to let the words coming out of my mouth to be gracious and loving. I know He will do that but I feel a rant coming on. I want to express my frustrations about the Mayor of San Juan who is literally letting people die in order to fit the agenda that the President is not doing anything to help her people. She made that statement while standing in front of full pallets of food and supplies. And where did she have the time and materials to make her fashion statement with her “Help us. We're dying shirt and SOS cap? I would guess that it was a gift from the Lame Stream Media since she was wearing it during an interview with Anderson Cooper of the Crazed Nuts Network otherwise known as CNN.

Lady, if I were you I would be on my knees not in protest but in thanks that our President sent aid to you as fast as he did. And no, Hillary, you do not get credit for it even if the leftist media gives it to you. You are not the president. You lost. And you have no authority to send anything anywhere. Ask Haiti. I'm sure they remember you and your rapist in chief husband. I'm sorry God. That one slipped. Please forgive me.

You members of the media also have blood on your hands for the news you ( can't in good conscience say report) spout. Because of your garbage, people are dying all over the country. You hide the atrocities of BLM and Antifa but talk about how unfit our President is. He has done more for this country in 8 months than the previous white house occupant did in 8 years. Yes, I support Trump because he is doing what he was elected to do. I have no such confidence in the Congress and Senate because they, for some reason, hate him and stand in his way. I know why they hate him is because he is an outsider and not an established politician that can be bought. This earns him more respect in my book. It is as obvious that Trump loves American and her people just as much as Obama hated America and her citizens. I have come to the point of distrust in the media that if they told me it is raining, I would have to go outside to see for myself.

Now, what about the NFL protests? These whiny crybabies that have their mothers take up their battle and call them “young men of character”. I have also researched the teams and their criminal records are frightening, to say the least. They have no respect for anyone or anything else except themselves. The owners that put them back on the team after they serve time in prison for anything from DUI to murder are just as bad. I have no respect for you and it looks like the majority of Americans don't either. What you “boys” call each other and your wives or girlfriends is much worse that what Trump called you. BTW, Trump would have never made that statement if your buddy Colon (no I did not misspell his name that is only the nicest thing I will call him) started it all when he sat the Anthem to protest “the flag that represents a country that oppresses black people and other people of color.” So you see, Colon is to blame for this mess you are in and he does not even have a job. So you can thank him for your lost revenues in ticket sales.

God, thank you for only letting “nice” words come from my mouth. I have said this in a loving tone but you can't water down the truth. It had to be said. Again, I say thank you for keeping my language clean because you know some of the words I wanted to us. You are so gracious.

As always you are free to disagree but I am free to express my opinion. May God bless you all. Just saying.

A Woman With a Voice

I find liberal women amusing and sad at the same time. They are amusing in the way they think everyone must agree with them and express themselves in the same way. I mean, come on, vagina hats and paper vagina costumes? But they are also sad because all women, according to them in their own narrow self-centered minds should follow their insane and illogical ideas and agree with them.

I want use my voice to answer two of these delusional icons of the liberals—Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama. You see, I think these two are by far the worst of the species known as liberal women. Hillary, I am not disrespecting myself because I support Trump. Yes, I heard what he said in this taped “locker room” talk but to me, you are disrespecting yourself when you tolerate what your husband did and then try to intimidate and silence his victims. I would be disrespecting myself if I had voted for you. When I heard what you said about Christians having to change their views and abortion is fine up to the day of deliver, I actually became sick to my stomach. I am a white, pro-life, conservative Christian woman and I apologize to no one for who I am and what I believe. I also believe you said you could not forgive women that did not vote for you. Well, I do not remember asking for your forgiveness because I neither want nor need it. I seek forgiveness from my Heavenly Father and I ask Him daily for it. You see, I do not see myself as perfect, I fail Him daily but He has never failed me.

Michelle, I did not vote “against my voice” when I voted for Trump. How dare you stand on that stage and insinuate that women who did not vote for Hillary are unintelligent, wall flowers that are afraid to speak up for ourselves! I don't know about you Michelle, maybe you were conditioned to shut up when men talk. I will say what I want to say and it's up to whom I am speaking with whether they will listen to what I say. But I will speak. In fact, I dare say my family sometimes wish I would lose my voice. If that happens, I can and will always write.

Who would even be stupid enough to think I should vote for a woman to lead this country simply because she is a woman? I weighed the issues for myself and decided who I thought would be the most competent for the job. Michelle, who did you vote for in 2008? Did you let your husband “take you voice” and tell you not to vote for the girl or did you speak out with your voice and vote for Hillary because she is a woman? I'm really interested in your answer.

One last thought. What if Hillary had won and with “gender fluidity” get up the next morning and decided she identified as a male? Where would all the women that voted for her because she was a woman be then? Think about it.

As always, you are free to disagree but I am free to my opinion. May God bless you all. Just saying.

Every Knee Shall Bow

On Sunday, Joy Reid, an MSNBC host, made an idiotic comparison. She compared Christians kneeling in church to the overpaid, whiny ball players that took a knee in disrespect to our flag and our National Anthem. According to Ms. Reid, we Christians are hypocrites. Her reasoning for this comparison is both idiotic and illogical. Personally I am offended by her remarks.

She believes that it is odd for the same people who kneel in church to consider it highest form of reverence while calling out the whiny crybaby ball players for taking a knee on the field. Well, Ms. Reid, let me enlighten you on the difference between the two. When we kneel in church, it is to show reverence to our creator who has blessed this great country for so long. Other Christians and I bend our knees to honor God, the author and finisher of our faith. However, these “overpaid and oppressed” athletes are taking a knee, raising their fists in a black power salute, and pretending to be a dog urinating on the field are not kneeling reverence to our God. They are only showing reverence to themselves and are defying the one true God—the same God that has blessed them by allowing them to play the game they game they love and making money doing it.

Now, Ms. Reid, think back a year or so when a player did take a knee on the field. Do you remember what you in the lame stream media said about that? You told him to keep his faith out of the NFL. Football has no place for it. That player's name is Tim Tebow. Now do you remember? But now, you are all so concerned with the constitutional rights of free speech, but apparently only for some.

By the way, Ms. Reid, there will be a day when everyone on earth will kneel in front of God. That day is coming soon. Are you ready?

As always, you have the right to disagree with me but I have the right to my opinion. May God bless you all. Just saying.

Hypocrisy In the NFL

Hypocrisy is defined at Yourdictionary.com as saying or feeling one thing and doing another. If you were on social media or were able to find a reliable news source this weekend, you have probably heard about the NFL controversy. The NFL players all joined in the “take a knee” movement to protest President Trump. When fans became outraged about this “protest”, the commissioner and owners stated that they stood by their players' right to express themselves.

I am not denying the players their right to protest. This is a right all Americans have. But what exactly are they protesting? Some say they are protesting this country because they say it is oppressive to black people. Yet, when I saw the pictures of the teams I saw pictures of black millionaire athletes. How have they been oppressed? If they are protesting the plight of other black people, why don't they help them by donating either time or money to make their lives better? If they are protesting the recent shootings of black criminals by police officers, why don't they also worry about black on black crime? Why don't they protest the victims of sexual abuse or domestic violence?. I'm sure this is an issue that should be close to at least 44 of the NFL players.

These athletes are playing a game and making more money than our brave men and women who are sacrificing their lives to defend this country so they can right to protest.

Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL assert that when the NFL is disparaged, it is a sign of utmost disrespect for the NFL, the game of football and the players of the game. But I say the NFL is showing disrespect for the American people who pay these whiny crybabies to entertain us. Yes, they are paid to entertain us. They are not paid to set policy or influence our politics.

The owners and coaches contend that the players have a right to express themselves. However, apparently, this right is not intended for everyone in the NFL. The coach of the Steelers became irritated and berated an Afghani war vet because he “went against the team” and went out to show honor to the Anthem and flag while the rest of the team cowered in the locker room. I salute this brave veteran for doing what was right.

Dallas Cowboys players were denied this right when they were not allowed by the NFL when they were not allowed to wear a helmet decal honoring the Dallas Police Department and the city as a whole following the ambush of on Dallas police officers.

Tim Tebow was denied his right to free expression when he took a knee in prayer on the football field. He was ridiculed and told to keep his faith out of football.

As I stated earlier, yes, the right to protest is a sacred right afforded to every citizen in the United States. But when the black player flashes a black panther sign on the field, this is beyond protesting. This is a defiant act and should be addressed as such. Newsflash NFL just as you have your right to protest we, as Americans, also have our right of free expression. We choose to use that right by not watching your games, buying your merchandise, or frequenting your sponsors.

A little word of advice. Save your protests for when you are off the clock and not while you are being paid to perform. Maybe then you will be taken more seriously and people can see exactly what you are protesting for and against.

Again, you are free to disagree just like I am free to express my opinion. May God bless you all.

Over Grown Bullies

How many of you remember being bullied in school? How many of you will admit to being a bully? Yes, it sad to see children being bullied today. I have a child I love who has been victimized. Trust me, it's a heart breaking thing to see and experience.

What I want to talk about today goes above and beyond childhood bullying. I want to express my frustrations toward “over grown bullies”. I'm talking about Black Lives Matter and Antifa among others I consider to be bullying American citizens.

Black Lives Matter will protest and riot, destroying property and attack people when a white police officer shoots a black criminal. Meanwhile, in Obama's own city of Chicago, thousands of blacks are killing other blacks. Even small children are being shot in gang related drive by shootings. But Black Lives Matter are not protesting this. In fact, I consider BLM to be cowards. When they attack someone, they do not attack people that can fight back but attack weak defenseless people like the physically and mentally disabled people and even lone women who cannot fight back. You will not usually see a lone member attacking someone, it's either a “gang” of these bullying cowards or they will attack when a “gang” of friends are close by to applaud the bullying.

Antifa works in much the same way. They will only attack in groups and are careful to attack someone who is weaker and cannot fight back. They claim they are fighting against fascism and “white supremacy” and free speech. But what they are really fighting for is free speech for only those that believe in what they believe in and agree with them.. Does that sound to you like they are fighting for us? I don't think so either. When they destroyed Berkeley and shut down Milo from speaking there this shows me what their idea of “free speech” really is.

OK enough about these hate groups. Let's talk about bullies that are actually in a position to ruin our country even more: Obama and Hillary. Obama is NOT our president any longer but in his little weak mind he still thinks and acts like he is. He is bullying us, the American people, by telling us how great he is and how he is going to overthrow our President and change this world. He has already changed this country far more than I wanted to see. He apologized to other countries for American and made us the laughingstock of the world. He didn't get to finish with all the change he wanted to bring about to destroy this country so enter Hillary. She was supposed to pick up the mantle he started and finish destroying this country. That didn't happen so she wrote a “blame it all” book that is nothing but a bullying tool. She is bullying us by telling us it is our fault she lost the election. She is bullying American women that did not vote for her. She has even attacked Melania by criticizing her on her stance of school and cyber bullying. This last point would be hilarious if it were not so sad.

Well, folks, I know I am making enemies because not everyone will agree with me. But, you know what. You still have the freedom to disagree just like I still have the freedom to say it. What I have written is my opinion so agree or not but I will not apologize for my words.

So goodbye and may God bless America but more importantly, may America thank God.

Get Off the Pity Pot

Unless you have living under a rock you have seen the riots in our city streets over the recent elections.  I have heard many people say that protest is good and is guaranteed under the Constitution of the United States.  I agree.  However, instead of peacefully protesting, these people (thugs) are destroying property, endangering lives and over all making nuisances of themselves.  A washed up singer recently said that America is the laughingstock of the rest of the world.  I won’t mention any names if that’s alright with you, Madonna.  Well, honey, what do you think you were when you offered to perform sex for a vote for Hillary.  We have been the joke of the rest of the world for the past 8 years under Obama.

When I see the “Snowflakes” crying and wringing their hands because they are “offended” by people that do not agree with them, it really offends me.  Oh, excuse me, I can’t be offended because I am not a liberal.  Let me see if I have this straight—I do want to be politically correct. HA!   Conservatives offend but can’t be offended while Liberals can’t offend but are offended.  OK.  Gotcha!

I went to college in the 70’s.  It might surprise the “enlightened” kids (yeah kids they are not acting like grown-ups) of today’s college campuses but we actuall6y learned from listening to the differing views and opinions of our classmates.  This was during the Viet Nam war era and classes were filled with a wide diversity of students—from the fresh out of high school students, older more mature students and *gasp* even veterans.  We did not run out of the room crying if someone voiced an opinion that differed from ours.  We discussed the opinions and each student was able to take a little bit of knowledge out of that room.  We did not curse or brow beat each other.  The college did not offer safe spaces, play doh or cute little puppies to salve our wounded egos and hurt feelings.  The only safety pins we wore were to hold a hem up or mend out clothes until there was time to mend the clothes the way they should be mended.

If you plan to prosper and flourish in this world, you need to realize LIFE IS NOT FAIR and the world does not revolve around you and your feelings.  You might be offended when the bank tells you to make your house payment or you will lose the house.  Your feeling might be hurt when your boss tells you to do something you do not want to do.  You will find that no one will provide a safe space for you when the real world hits you in the face and you have kids to feed and clothe and bills to pay and you can’t stretch that paycheck far enough.

So SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP, face life and GET OFF THE PITY POT.

Proud To Be A Deplorable Redneck

With the election only a month away, I have studied the issues and prayed about my vote.  I then realized there is only one way that is right for me and my family.  As a Christian, I feel I have a responsibility to vote and let my voice be heard.

First, I would like to address the words Trump said on the leaked tape.  I do not condone his words about women nor think they are acceptable in any way.  As a mother and grandmother of girls, his words disgust me.  However, I cannot condone Bill Clinton’s actions against women or Hillary’s attempts to ruin these women’s lives.  She states she is an advocate for women and children but her actions decimate her words.  When she laughed about getting the child rapist out of jail, I could not imagine the horror the 12 year old girl and her family felt.

I admit I do not find the characters of our choices admirable.  Both candidates have said and done disgusting and appalling things in the course of their campaigns.  This election is not about characters but so much more—our way of life.  Sexism and racism are running rampant in our country today and the government is fueling the fire with groups like Black Lives Matter creating havoc around the country. Police have been ostracized and treated like the enemy from our president on down through the ranks of elected officials across the country.  I agree Black Lives do matter but so do Blue Lives and everyone’s lives.

Our media is not reporting the new.  It has taken it upon itself to monitor what we see and hear.  There is no such thing as true objective reporting anymore.  Our media lies to us, our president lies to us, and Hillary lies to us and then lies about her lies to cover them up.  Who can we trust for the news anymore?

Now I want to tell you why I am voting for Trump based on the issues we are facing today.

First, our Economic Stability is at risk.  Hillary has promised so many things that sound good-too good.  I have always heard that is something sounds too good to be true it usually is.  Sure Trump did not pay taxes but he used a legal loophole—the same loophole Hillary Clinton did.  Trump is a business man that knows how to run a business.  If a worker did not do a satisfactory job, he wasn’t paid.  Trump did not accumulate his wealth by selling favors to rich influential friends.  He worked and built real estate.

The second issue I would like to address is our National Security.  I, for one, do not want open borders.  That is not to say I do not want immigrants coming to my country.  Many have come here to make a better life for their families and have followed legal channels to become citizens.  They were able to assimilate into our culture and have managed to make a good life here.  I am talking about the illegals who have come here and committed crimes against our citizens.  Many have been deported once and sometimes more than once.  I am talking about Muslims that come over here and refuse to assimilate into our culture insisting America cater to their culture.  Our Constitution is our law of the land—not Sharia law.  I find it very offensive that schools have kicked God out but are teaching Islam.  Our country was founded and established on Judeo-Christian values and should remain Judeo-Christian.  Our Constitution affords citizens with the second amendment—the right to carry guns.  Hillary wants to take guns from citizens.  She says that will make us safer.  Friends, if we give up our guns do you think criminals will give up theirs?  No, they will always find ways to get them.  The only objective this will accomplish will be to leave us defenseless.  Criminals do not care about laws.  Simply put, that is why they are called CRIMINALS.  Trump wants to protect Americans.  He wants to do what is right for this country.

Third, I would like to talk about Pro-Life.  I believe that God is the creator of life and no one has the right to play God and decide that a child’s life is not important.  Murder is murder whether it is in the womb or not.  Hillary believes that a child does not have constitutional rights even minutes before it is born.  If she believes that, what is stopping her from declaring that senior citizens don’t have constitutional rights either.

Finally, I would like to discuss the Supreme Court.  Whoever is elected will appoint 5 justices.  These people will have influence ever after the president leaves office.  Hillary did not say she wanted a supreme court that would uphold the constitution. Rather, she said she wanted a supreme court that would further the liberal agenda on same sex marriage and abortion.  She has already said that “Christians will have to change their beliefs on these issues in order to follow the laws and policies.”  Is that who we want in the White House?  Not me.  I will not abandon my faith because the government tries to tell me that it interferes with the law.  My God is the ruler of my life and He will always be the ruler of my life.

Friends, I urge you to do your own research and vote your conscience.  I am not telling you who to vote for.  But do not let the liberal media influence your vote. Remember, all it takes for evil to spread is for good men to do nothing.  I urge you to do your part to stop this spread of evil.  As a Christian, don’t stay home on election.  We have a duty and must not neglect it.

Psalm Of the Welfare State

The government is my shepherd

Therefore, I need not work.

It alloweth me to lay down on a goof job.

It leadeth me beside still factories.

And it destroys my initiative.

It leadeth into the path of a parasite for politics' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley

of laziness and deficit-spending.

I will fear no evil, for the government is with me.

It prepareth an economic Utopia for me,

by appropriating the earnings

Of my own grandchildren.

It filleth my head with false security;

my insufficiency runs over.,

Surely the government should care

for me all the days of life here on earth!!!

And I shall dwell in a fool’s paradise forever.

I did not write this but  I wish I had.  This is how our country is today and it is a shame

Freedom From What?

Choose you this day whom ye will serve…But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.  Joshua 24:15

We no longer do this for fear of Offending Someone !!! Let's see how many Americans will re-post this. United Faith Network

Friends, I am confused.  About as confused as a blonde looking for a “WE” in an “M&M” factory. It appears there is a group going around calling itself the Freedom FROM Religion Foundation.  Fine, if you want to call yourself Freedom From Human Race Foundation go for it.But this group is allowing satanists to put up a display of a Bible verse and an angel falling into hell next to a nativity scene.  What’s with that?  OK we Christians don’t want to offend the satanists.  Only God can do that.  The basis for this “dumb” decision is “we don’t want to offend anyone.”  Ok fine.  But why is this same group of “brainless” people telling Christians we can’t put up nativity scenes because it will offend atheists.  We can’t say Merry Christmas because it offends muslims.   Our kids can’t pray or say the pledge to OUR flag because it might offend someone.  Come on people—WAKE UP.  To paraphrase the Bard of Avon from one his greatest plays—Evil by any other name would smell just as rotten.  Of course Shakespeare was talking about a rose smelling sweet.  But I think you can see the difference.

This country was founded on Freedom OF Religion not freedom FROM religion.  There can’t possibly be freedom from religion anyway.  Satanism is a religion worshipping satan.  Muslims practice Islam and worship allah.  Atheists worship who knows what-themselves maybe.  If a group wanted to start a religion of the first church of Wal-Mart and worship Wal-Mart they have that right.  But don’t try to force me to stop worshipping God because it offends someone.  It offends me when someone tries to tell me how, who, and when to worship.

Christianity to me is more than a mere religion.  It’s a way of life and a relationship with my Heavenly Father.  Let me tell you there is no better relationship than that.

Now that I have vented, I am going to eat my bacon and eggs.  Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS in this nation under God and may God bless us each and every one.

Remember When

Think back if you can to a time when children were allowed to pray in school and even say the pledge to the United States flag every morning.  What! You don’t remember this.  Well let me tell you a story about how life used to be in this country.

Families actually had two parents.  If death had separated the parents, aunts, uncles, grandmothers and even the community came together to help the family. Divorces were seldom heard of.  You knew your neighbors—in fact—everyone in the community was your neighbor and all you had to do was ask for help and everyone that was able came to your aid.  Our neighborhoods were so safe, we kids could play outside until 10 or 11 o’clock at night.  We didn’t have air conditioning so we slept with windows open and sometimes even our doors because there was no such thing as crime.  Of course, we had neighborhood drunks and the occasional teen age boys that drag raced down the highway but nothing as serious as today.

If any of us kids caused any problem at school we could expect the punishment to be resumed when we returned home that afternoon.

We were taught to respect our elders and say “yes ma’am”, “no sir”, “please” and “thank you.” If a neighbor needed help with yard work or running errands, we helped without thoughts of “how much are you going to pay me”?  We had chores to do and if we forgot to do them we knew we could expect to have a “memory lesson” that would do the trick. No, we were not abused.  We were taught that to be a member of a family and the benefits that came with that also brought with it responsibility to help the family.  We brought that lesson with us to adulthood.

We were allowed freedom to have fun but we were always held accountable for where we went and what we did.  Although there were no phones our parents knew what we had been doing even before we got home.  That’s because we had “nosey” neighbors that were looking out for us.

We didn’t have video games or even much t.v but we had fun with our family and friends.

Yes, we said prayers and the pledge in school.  We helped each other.  There was no shouts of hate or police brutality no rioting in the streets or teenagers robbing the neighborhood store or beating up the elderly. The leaders of this country knew how to lead the country and be the leader of everyone in the country and not cater to a small segment of the population.

No friends, back when I was a kid, we were taught responsibility by our parents.  Our parents raised us themselves—not nannies, maids, babysitters or the gangs at the corner.  We were shown respect and we, in turn, gave respect to others.

I think this country would be better off if our society today went back to the days when we treated everyone the way the Bible teaches us: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself”.
